DATA PROTECTION - GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR) MAY2018
New Regulations regarding data protection and how companies collection, store and use personal data provided to them in the course of their work, come into force on 25th May 2018. Great Denham Parish Council must also comply with these regulation with regard to any personal information, e.g. email address, mobile phone number etc, provided to them by residents; as a result we have updated our Privacy statements and also a number of policies, including our Social Media Policy. CODE OF CONDUCT
As from 1st July 2012 all parish councils were required to adopt a new Code of Conduct which regulates the standards of behaviour expected of them. Great Denham Parish Council decided that the most sensible option would be to adopt the Code to be used by it's primary authority ie Bedford Borough Council.
